Contemporary British novelist, Zadie Smith laments how resentful people perceive the words ‘Black Lives Matter‘.
In an interview published on Louisiana YouTube Channel, the popular storyteller says white people particularly find the words provocative.
Maintaining that it is rageful for people to feel hurt with the words which are more of hope for some certain kind of people, Smith says she’s not comfortable with the fact that she can’t express some words without some people feeling hurt.
Smith reveals that those who find the words provocative are people who have the inclusive mentality. “Why must you feel you should be included practically in everything?” Smith queried.
Smith exemplifies that hatred of the words ‘Black Lives Matter‘, is as a result of insecurity and jealousy. “If you have ever been in relationship or marriage before, you would understand.”
“Those who think everything has to either go through them or include them are rageful.” She adds.
