Michael B. Jordan’s character Erik Killmonger in the blockbuster movie, ‘Black Panther‘ might have been recreated.
It was celebrity look-alike day in school, and Kiona Sherman alongside her husband Leé Jefferson couldn’t help but style their 8-year-old kid in the Black Panther‘s character.
All thanks to a bit of mascara that gives him a faux beard, Jachir looks exactly like him rocking a jean jacket, white T-shirt, Black pants and sneakers, and similar necklaces, completed with round glasses.
Revealing that Jachir’s look was no hard to recognize, Jefferson says it took no time to style him as he’s been growing his hair for quite some years now.
“It was almost effortless. He had already been growing his hair for over a year now, and it was the perfect length to re-create the hairstyle,” says Jefferson. “We were so inspired by the Black Panther movie that we had to do mini Killmonger.”
Jachir’s striking resemblance with Killmonger despite being the mini one didn’t escape online commenters as soon as the picture was up.
The picture which subsequently went viral on the internet, melted people’s heart as many applauded the creativity behind the recreation.
“This is sooo cute. Such a good job. I knew exactly who it was,” wrote a commenter. “He looks just like him,” added another.
Meanwhile, Jefferson reveals how Jachir’s style and to look got the actor’s approval. “We were all ecstatic to know Michael B. Jordan had seen the post and was kind enough to like it.”
