In a post dated back to 2017, Matice explained what her channel is all about. According to her, stuttering can be sometimes unpredictable and the more she gets frustrated, the more she stutters. She made known that she was making a video about stuttering at the time, and her video shows her stutter at her worst.
In view of her promise of transparency and honesty, Matice has not disappointed as she inspires other people like her.
A commenter on her channel, Sandra Croland wrote; “I am a speech/language pathologist. I shared your video with my middle school students. I want you to know that you are helping young people! They loved your video! Thank you for your uplifting words and encouragement. You are amazing! I started to address the emotional component of stuttering and your videos are PERFECT!”
While Matice makes known that it is her goal to educate stutterers and non-stutterers, the #BlackGirlMagic said in one of her videos that she thought she was the only one with the challenged until after many years she started seeing people like her.
